Alright, tell me you've seen a vise like this. This is an Emmert Universal Bench Vice. So, it's got three jaws on it. Uh these would have been removable. I made them brass. These would have been fixed and hardened. One was broken and I had to make a replacement and these are pin jaws that would use changeable jaws like this and would allow you to grab tapered pieces like this shank. So, what's very cool about this vice aside from the fact that you can use it in any orientation, right? I can turn it 45 degrees as you tighten it, it locks itself in on that rotation but what's really cool about this is on top of all this adjustability, it's got a swivel base and then it can also do this. It can go completely vertical and obviously still works, still rotates. Now, you can grab stuff and work on it. In this orientation, it can go any amount of other ways by loosening this handwheel on the other side and moving it around following this L-shaped track.
