We thought the hardest part was removing all those painful mats but we were wrong💔 After hours of careful grooming, we finally gave him a warm bath and washed away years of dirt, buildup, and neglect. For the first time in what felt like forever, he was clean, lighter, and able to move more comfortably❤️ But when we reached the final steps and tried to trim his nails and clean his ears, he suddenly started showing his teeth. We could have forced him to finish everything… But we didn’t. That injured leg had already caused him enough pain, and he had been through more than enough for one day. So we stopped. He wasn’t perfectly groomed.
