Day 2 of searching for the first thought ever had

So at the moment there's a true debate being had as to whether or not Luffy has ever had a thought in the entirety of One Piece. And right here I thought I found it. Cause shit, this looks like a thought bubble to me. But apparently they're saying that he's whispering. This is what bubbles for internal thoughts look like. Because traditionally Oda uses those little bubbly thingies, not as thoughts but as whispers. And upon cross examining a couple of other panels and checking some sources, it seems to be the case. So now we're back down to square zero. Luffy has never had a thought confirmed. But I found one, one singular instance where these exact same dialogue bubbles are being used for Luffy. And we know this is Luffy because he's calling other fucking guy, Diamond Head Master. This is when he rang the bell, he said do you hear it? The golden city is here for the whole 400 years. But you know, he didn't actually say this out loud because he's saying ring. Now, there is people out there they're saying like, no, that's not him thinking. That's his feelings when he rang the bell being made through the text on screen that people can't actually see. It's just his feelings. So thoughts. I've seen people go to extreme lengths to swear up and down that Luffy has nothing in his head. But that one is pretty crazy. So it's not over. Luffy had a thought. Maybe he ain't as dumb as we think he is.
