Samsung actually made 13 different versions of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. And some of them are better than others, but it all depends on where you live. For example, if you live in the United States, there are two different versions that you could get. The SM-S948U, the carrier version, and the SM-S948U1, the factory unlocked version. Both of them have a Nano-SIM and an eSIM setup. Same phone, different carrier status. Then you have the Canada version, SM-S948W, which is basically the same setup as the USA version. But if you live in Europe or other international markets, that's where things get a little bit different. You get the SM-S948B/DS, which has room for two physical Nano-SIMs and an eSIM. So you can easily run two SIM cards of the same type. Also, the SM-S9480 from Taiwan gets the same dual-SIM setup, two Nano-SIMs plus eSIM. Matches the Europe/global SIM setup. Then the Japan unlocked SM-S948Q, which goes back to the same as America, where it has a Nano-SIM plus eSIM setup. And they also have several carrier versions. South Korea gets the SM-S948N, regional market version. There are other small differences in the phones, but they're not really that big. The main physical difference when it comes to Samsung phones, they don't have any actual physical differences aside from the SIM card tray. A lot of them do support different LTE/5G bands for the networks that they're designed for. What stays the same? Unlike iPhones, the hardware is basically the same.
