Why it worked

The video uses relatable humor and a common pain point for pet owners (lack of time for meal prep) to introduce a solution. The clear demonstration of the product's benefits and a compelling discount code drive engagement and conversions.

Summary

The video showcases two dogs, Rosie and Benny, and their owner's struggle to provide them with fresh, healthy meals due to a busy schedule. The owner discovers Ollie, a fresh dog food service, which simplifies meal preparation and is enjoyed by the dogs. The video concludes with a promotional offer for Ollie.

Structure

1Introduction of Rosie and Benny
2Owner's struggle to prepare homemade meals
3Discovery of Ollie dog food
4Ollie's benefits and ingredients
5Dogs enjoying Ollie food
6Promotional offer for Ollie

Product placement

Ollie: ACTS - it is a brand of fresh dog food that is prepared and served to dogs. Removing it would change what happens in the video. Ollie: APPEARS - it is a brand of dog food that appears on packaging and in the freezer. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.

This is Rosie An Australian Shepherd who goes outside only for the treat She knows is waiting for her when she comes back inside And this is Benny A Great Pyrenees who believes that any food left on the kitchen counter is technically no longer your food And this is Riley Their owner who wants to feed them the freshest, healthiest, food possible but between cooking for the humans, working, and keeping two professional food critics alive she didn't exactly have time to prepare homemade meals for the dogs every day That's when she found Ollie Ollie makes fresh dog food with human-grade ingredients so fresh that even she could happily eat it Their chef-developed recipes like beef and potatoes, lamb and cranberries, make their regular kibble look like it's been personally betrayed The food arrives fresh, pre-portioned and ready to serve which means less time cooking for the dogs and more time doing literally anything else And apparently, Rosie approves Because she now has two reasons to go outside The treat and the fact that dinner is waiting for her when she gets back Benny, on the other hand is still checking the counter just in case.
