I have discovered something about myself as of late. And it's that I have a very specific type when it comes to romantasy men because these are my three favorite romantasy reads of the past year. And all of the MMCs are kind of the same, slightly different fonts. And I know I'm not alone in thinking this because every time I talk about one of the MMCs, somebody comments and they're like, he's so x-coded. And I completely agree. And I don't know how to fully explain it outside of the fact that they're like, a little cold and distant, obviously at first. And they're very, very smart. They're like, ten steps ahead of everyone. They are also, not overly lustful. I absolutely hate that. And they are also, a bit of a slow burn, but still yearning. If that makes sense. Also, each of these MMCs are underratedly hilarious. I'm telling you, it's because they're so witty and funny, but like, this dry sense of humor. Anyway, you've probably seen me talk about each of these. Saint Sinner and Weaving Shaw, Aaron and The Gilded Cage, and then obviously, King of Battle and Bone and Alchemised. You cannot tell me that these are not coded just like each other. And so I'm like, what other books are like that? If you know, then please let me know.
