the summer of DECLUTTERING ✨

Decluttered our garage and set up a mudroom for us! Our garage needed so much help! We don’t have a coat closet or an actual mudroom in our current house so when we moved in, my plan was to turn the back wall of our garage into a mudroom for us. I wanted a place to store shoes and hang coats and backpacks. I went through all the shoes, coats, and other random things and Austin organized the mess in the front of the garage which was a ton of cardboard, outdoor toys, and some things we needed to donate. The amount of shoes we had is honestly embarrassing 😂 I have such a hard time getting rid of my shoes for some reason (like I have shoes from when I was in college🫠) but I got rid of a ton! And I definitely have more I should probably get rid of. My goal was for this to be round 1 of decluttering and another day I’ll come back and re-visit what’s left to reduce things down more. And to be fair, both girls are in between shoe sizes so I have a bunch from the size they’re leaving and their new sizes and any shoes that were still in good shape from Emily to pass to Anna. This setup is so much better and is now a functional space for our family to keep us organized!
