Less toys… more ways to play!! We live for the continued fun around here ya know?? You don’t always need a new toy to create a new play experience. When we play with familiar toys in different ways, we give kids opportunities to practice flexible thinking, problem solving, imitation, and language, all without adding anything new to the playroom. Changing how you use a toy can also create novelty. A toy that has been sitting on the shelf for months can suddenly feel new when you introduce a different way to play with it. A set of DUPLOs or Mega Bloks can be so much more than just building a tower. Try changing the way you play, adding a new challenge, or using the blocks in a completely different context.
