Why it worked
The video combines a shocking and relatable premise (straining on the toilet) with a dramatic transformation and a spiritual message, creating a narrative arc that is both attention-grabbing and emotionally resonant.
Summary
The video depicts a man who suffers a stroke after straining too hard while pooping, leading to a change in his brain function. Post-stroke, he develops a passion for art and poetry, and the video then transitions into a religious message about the spirit of God and finding purpose.
Structure
- 1Man strains on toilet, suffers stroke
- 2Wakes up in hospital with altered perception
- 3Develops new artistic and rhyming abilities

On-screen text
He was pooping
so hard
that a blood vessel
suddenly burst
inside his brain
and both sides
of his head
exploding with pain
He collapsed
to the floor
and woke up
in the hospital
looked out
the window
he saw numbers
from a tree
Then he started
speaking in rhyme
obsessed
with writing
and painting
<< REWIND
Now before
the stroke
cared about art
But doctors think
damaged
of his brain
while removing
filters
that normally
how we see
the world
So he spent years
writing poetry
creating paintings
and sculptures
and trying to
his new mind
understand
" Do you have 10 seconds for Jesus...? "
