I found delicious north eastern Thai food in Bangkok 🇹🇭🍚 On my first night back in Thailand I walked past this place and decided to check it out. 🥗 Somtam Thai (ส้มตำไทย) — “kor somtam thai, phet nit noi krap” Thai-style papaya salad, ordered spicy but not too spicy — the classic Isaan starter. 🍗 Gai Yang Samunphrai (ไก่ย่างสมุนไพร) — herb-marinated grilled chicken, char-grilled and packed with lemongrass and garlic flavor. 🥩 Neua Yang (เนื้อย่าง) — grilled beef, Isaan-style — smoky and simple. 🍚 Khao Suay (ข้าวสวย) — steamed jasmine rice, the perfect base for everything spicy on the table. 🍺 Singha Beer (เบียร์สิงห์) — small bottle, ice-cold, non-negotiable with somtam. 💧 Naam bplao (น้ำเปล่า) — plain water, because it’s always hot here. 🥭 Khao Neo Mamuang (ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง) — mango sticky rice, the ultimate Thai dessert to finish it off. 📍 Khao Suan Kwang Grilled Chicken, Sukumvit 22 Bangkok #thaifood #bangkok #thailand #learnthai
