I'm under attack. So my business is currently under attack over a croissant that I made and it's under attack by an Instagram influencer. So let me tell you how this all started. Uh, about three years ago, an influencer that I used to provide free product to, photos of it, and she'd post it, kind of the deal. But unfortunately, the last time that I saw her, which was at least two years ago, but she brought her boyfriend and a free breakfast, had a free dessert, and then afterwards, they also packed up more free things to go. And she never posted me. So I just unfollowed her, didn't invite her back in and never heard from. Um, she messaged me a few days ago because new croissant. It's the the bond me on. So I called it a crow me. And she said, offended and wants the name of it because it doesn't line up with, uh, Vietnamese ingredients and also asked me why it chose a white person to work with as opposed to an Asian person who could have brought in more context. I just responded, don't pick people based on ethnicity. And instead of, she sent an army of trolls to start saying that I'm culturally appropriating and that I'm tone deaf. Was just politely asking me to change the name of my product. And I thought, just saying to the white girl. So anyways, I am amazed, happy that we're in life, get this worked up over a croissant. But, you know, it's hard enough. A business in Edmonton, businesses are going down by the second. Do we really need another influencer who doesn't actually support businesses to just try and cancel them over the fact wanna change the ingredients for her liking? Didn't choose someone Asian to work with? I don't even know what to say besides the fact that this isn't high school. Bullying. My kitchen. I laid this floor, that wallpaper, I laid this, I could bake and cook whatever I want. That's the whole working as hard as I do. Support the community. I'm not sure that telling people, hey, um, change your ingredients for me and, hey, don't work with white people is really what the community needs.
