I'm a dietitian and I've been following an anti-inflammatory diet for over two years now. So here's the protein powders that I would actually pick up at Target. FlavCity is a good option if you can tolerate whey. It's made with a grass-fed whey and when we look in the ingredients, they're all pretty simple. They use monk fruit and stevia leaf as their plant-based sweetener, which are two of my preferred plant-based sweeteners. It also has some cordyceps and mushrooms, which are a nice addition, but not necessarily something I look for in a protein powder. Truvani is one that I personally use all of the time. You can see right on the front that it's only made with 5 ingredients. And they have a lot of different flavors to choose from. And they also have an unflavored version for those of you who like unflavored things. You can get this variety pack from Target, so you can try out a bunch of different flavors too. But look at the ingredients. Honestly, so clean, so simple. And everyone knows and loves Just Ingredients, especially now that they're at Target. And honestly, just like the brand says, their ingredients are really simple. They have mostly organic ingredients in their products, which is another really good plus. Plus, again, they have a lot of different flavors to choose from. Clean Simple Eats is another one that Target carries. I have honestly never tried this one personally, but I see people on social media using this all the time. The ingredients are pretty simple. They do use natural flavors though, which raises me a little bit of caution, but not bad. They have mostly organic ingredients though, which is another really good plus. Plus again, they have a lot of different flavors to choose from. Target carries a ton of them. Clean Simple Eats is another one that Target carries.
