Trader Joe's has some really affordable skincare but I don't like all of it. So I'm going to show you which I would and wouldn't spend my money on as a chemist and a skincare freak. I don't mess around about skincare. Okay. So we're going to go through some new ones and then also a lot of their OG products. The Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum is going to be a no for me. It's really just propanediol and hyaluronic acid. You can find so many other serums with more humectants for a good price. The Dewy Skin Serum though, would be a yes. This formulation has a bit more going on and would be really pretty in the morning, especially before makeup. The Retinol Serum is definitely a yes. If you're on a budget, this is a solid retinol serum. Nothing wrong with it. Nah. The Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream. Nah. I mean, you could be good for hydration, but if you're trying to treat under eye concerns, then it would be a no. Yes, the Vitamin C Serum. It's similar to skincare dupe. I mean, that formulation is not expensive to make. It's got to be like a couple bucks guys. Like just get this. Nah. The Rose Water Facial Toner. Um, like really was rose water. I'm going to be doing. Um, there's a ton of facial sprays that I'd recommend that are really affordable that I like better. Yes. The Marula Oil Cream Cleanser. I didn't realize that first, but it's supposed to be for the drunk elephant. They do use similar surfactants, slightly different amounts, but they do perform pretty similarly. Yes. And while we're here, also yes to this Marula Facial Oil because you don't need to pay that much for the drunk elephant one. You can just get this if you really want a facial oil that bad. Yes. Night Cream. A lot of great fermented ingredients. They purchase this big complex of fermented ingredients. So a lot going on for a good price. Yes.
