how do you edit around someone's whole personality? *my client's personality* *me editing the video* editing a YouTube video hits different whole personality is literally just chaos to make that work *notes from my client* "Love how comedic and fun her editing style is - unserious vlogs but highly edited to be fun, watchable and entertaining." for the vibe she wants and one of them was old school Emma Chamberlain vlogs and this is how i approach first things first is how do how do we introduce her to the audience? fashion & beauty vlogs journalism because she covers multiple niche so instead of jumping into the video I designed a landing page graphic her niche besides her photo that comes on screen and clicks which video does this fall into for the aesthetic *final landing page render* *vlog* *make up* *fashion* *journalism* I went with the Windows 98 point style which was natural because it acts as an extension of who she is spotting the FUNNIEST MOMENTS it's about spotting the funniest moments in her footage I also use them intentionally either to bridge into the next section or to give the viewer a little reset y'all my in between talking points ice coffee bitches then I layer overlay sound effects and sometimes stacking multiple sounds together to make a moment hit harder highlighting HER HUMOR ties it all together is highlighting her humor don't ask me about the focus I'm a meme person it's my first time back so when I spot a funny moment I lean on memes to highlight it did you guys see the interview Abby Lee Miller? personality out in the edit is one of the things I don't know how to fix it I love the most about this work ELVA video editor creative director I'm Elva I'm a video editor and creative director follow along if you wanna see more of this and see you in the next one bye!
