Four siblings came together and built this stunning modular home retreat by the lake

What does it really take for a family to build something that can outlive them? In this episode, we visit a beautiful lakeside retreat built around stunning modular A-frame homes and meet Ruth, one of four siblings who have chosen to continue building and growing what their family started. But beyond the architecture and incredible views, this conversation opened up something much bigger for me: generational wealth, family ownership and the power of building together. We talk about what it takes My father was a lover of land. And uh, we had the option when he passed on to dispose But we thought that this was such a great identifying point for him. He loved this place. And uh, we decided that our desire is to cement our generational identity using this project. Fast for him, because he loved the peace and the peace in this place and also to have a place where we can point and say, we did it. As a team. The building where we're seated in is actually all steel. The rest is just dressed. This house, the only thing that was done on site is this foundation. Everything else was done in a factory. When it comes to site, it's then bolted like Legos. It's precise building. Essentially, the saving on modular is between 10 and 20 percent. There are many people who have property which they have no access to. Why? They're still fighting each other. Dad and family unity were crazy. So for us, there was what he left us. And we, because there was unity, the court process was seamless. I plead that if your parents have left you somewhere think, just give yourself two years to think and research. Hold on to it. Think and research. Hold on to your soil. Rather than exchange it for concrete. Please don't be chased out of your land.
