Turns out the secret to seeing Christ the Redeemer without the crowds is…waking up at 5am 😂🇧🇷 save this for your Rio trip! Are you waking up for these views? 👀 #riodejaneiro #christtheredeemer #braziltravel #riotravel #solotravel One thing I've learned while traveling It's that waking up early for the views is always worth it Today we're waking up very early to see Christ the Redeemer before the crowds I got to the entrance at 6am and by 6:20 things were starting to open up Around 6:30am we got our tickets and just 15 minutes later we were already getting settled onto the train And here's a little tip: sit on the right side You'll thank me later The train leaves at 7am and around 7:20 we finally made it up to one of the Seven Wonders of the World And for those first few minutes, it honestly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves There were still people around, but we actually had time to walk around and enjoy the view without bumping into crowds But of course, that didn't last long The crowds started rolling in and it filled up fast Luckily by 8:30am we were all done and heading back down And honestly, if I had to do it all over again, I'd still set my alarm to 5am
