It's 6:45 in the morning, let's go see what the Vatican Museums look like before everyone else arrives. By the time visitors were just starting to line up outside, we were already inside the Vatican Museums. Just being able to see the Gallery of Maps completely empty like this was 100% worth the early wake-up call. Plus, we could actually stop, take photos, and admire every detail without thousands of people walking through. As we made our way through the museums, we were accompanied by a guard, and he opens some extra doors along the route as the museums were getting ready to welcome the public. It made the whole experience feel really special. I can't tell you how many Vatican Museum tours I've been on, but I've never been in these rooms. This is a really exclusive experience. The tour also included early access to the Sistine Chapel. I wasn't allowed to film inside, but getting to spend so much time there before the crowds arrived was something I'll never forget. And I visited the Vatican more times than I can count, but I still learned new things on this tour. Our guide was fantastic and made the entire experience even better. By the time we finished, the museums were starting to let visitors in, and we were already heading out.
