The cutest date night spot in Charlotte, North Carolina is one of my go-to faves, North Italia. A fun little backstory is that Will and I actually grew up less than 10 minutes from each other, but never crossed paths. So now it's fun to get to relate to each other about niche nostalgic references that we had growing up. And that's why I thought it would be so cute to try North Italia's Summer Sips event. They create a bunch of different cocktails based on nostalgic summer memories. Immediately looking at the menu, so many core memories hit me, like the S'mores Please and Capri Punch, but I had to go with the Dreamsicle Margarita because it's inspired by chasing the ice cream truck growing up, which is like little local ice cream trucks we had in our neighborhood. Let me tell you, it was 10 out of 10. I also wanted to try the Toaster Jam cocktail that's exclusive to this location, which is inspired by strawberry Pop-Tarts. I was not expecting it to hit the palette so spot on. Love this idea for a fun date night, so definitely save this one and make sure to check them out before it ends on September 7th.
