Three tips for shooting in dark gyms. Follow for daily tips. Number one shoot with a prime. Zooms are great. But typically primes have lower apertures going from an F2.8 to an F2 gives you twice the amount of light. Number two do not sacrifice your shutter speed for brightness. Do not lower your shutter less than 1/800 and ideally at least 1/1000. Better to be sharp and noisy than bright and blurry. Number three know your ISO limit. Do you know how high of an ISO you can shoot at before it can’t be fixed in post? On this camera it’s 10,000. Don’t be afraid to go to your limit.
