If you learned how to use your camera traditionally, you probably take really crappy sports photos. Let me explain. The way I learned photography was balancing my shutter speed, my aperture, my ISO. And that's pretty good for portraits. But for sports photography, almost guaranteed to get blurry images. Sports photography settings are actually way simpler. Your shutter speed needs to be anywhere from 1/1000 to 1/2000th minimum. Your aperture needs to be at its lowest stops or a few stops higher for optimal sharpness. Your ISO needs to be brought up to balance the exposure of the image. With that, you will take banger photos.
