Let's make an easy crockpot dinner that cooks all day in the crockpot. This is not just a roast. First thing I'm going to do is season the bottom of my crockpot. I'm just going to use some garlic powder, onion powder, and some smoked paprika. Then I'm going to take my meat and I have a beef bottom roast. I don't know, I wanted a chuck roast, but this is what we're using. Drop these right in. I'm going to add the same seasonings on the top. Then we're going to add a can of French onion soup. Smells so good. Then I'm going to add a cup and a half of the low salt beef broth. A packet of the Lipton onion soup mix. Add one packet of the Fire and Smoke Society Au Jus. The best Au Jus mix I've ever had. Give it all a good mix. And I cut up a Vidalia onion and I'm just going to put that right on top. All right, then we're going to cover that and cook on low for eight hours. And don't lock your crockpot unless you're carrying it somewhere. It has been over eight hours. I am going to Look at that. It did splatter on me. Then I'm going to take these top sliced brioche buns and I'm going to put some butter on top of them. So nice, did Mr. Carl give that to you? That's nice. All right, then in each one I'm going to put some of the meat and onions. I'm going to top each one with a piece of provolone cheese. I'm just going to toast these in the oven until the cheese is melty and the bread is a little bit crispy. Take out a little bit of the broth mixture for like an Au Jus dip. Here is my dip sandwich. It is super good and full of flavor and this dip is really good. It's a good way to have a little roast that you don't just make pot roast and potatoes. You can make a little French dip sandwich. This literally cooked like eight and a half hours all day long. If y'all make it, I hope you enjoy it.
