Buckle the f*** up, China just released an open AI model

Buckle the f*** up, China just released an open AI model and the internet turned it into uncensored black hat AI. No safeguards. No babysitter. And potentially capable of some seriously crazy shit. This is where open AI gets scary. Let me explain. China's Alibaba released Quinn 3.8. This is the 27 billion open source model that people can actually just download on their computer. It's been around, and then somebody took it and basically completely uncensored it. Ripped out the no button from the whole thing, and they used it. It was called Alteration, basically to weaken the refusal system of how it all works and talks to you. So all the questions that ChatGPT normally refuses, or Claude says no, you can't talk about hacking or Gemini. Now people have modified this and are reporting that they can do some absolutely crazy shit with this. China released the open model. They did not release this uncensored modification, for sure. But you can't really control what people do with this. A lot of bad, a lot of nefarious people doing this. So once you let people download it and modify it because it's open source, they've stripped the guardrails. They've stripped all of it, and now you can run it locally to do all kinds of insane stuff. No login. There is no subscription. This literally sits on your computer. And now you have this unfiltered large language model, which is actually quite powerful to do the most insane things. So the big question to ask here is whether China's plan is to just launch these open source models, let people jailbreak them, completely destroy the US. It's a scary thought. But what we've seen today with this new jailbreak version of Quinn, kinda makes you think this could be part of it. Sure, I don't like to speculate. But this is enough data to show that a very powerful model in the hands of the wrong people, they're able to do this kind of insane stuff. The story's gonna continue on it.
