Why it worked
The video likely worked by combining popular animated characters and a trending game (Fortnite) with a controversial opinion about a popular show ("Hazbin Hotel"), creating engagement through discussion and potential disagreement.
Summary
The video starts with an animated scene where one character confesses a crush to another. It then transitions to a Fortnite map with anime-style overlays and commentary discussing the show "Hazbin Hotel" and its characters, comparing it unfavorably to "Invincible" and "Lesbian Space Princess." The video ends with social media handles and a call to join a Discord server.
