TREATS I WOULD BUY VS SKIP AT PETSMART

As a dog trainer, these are treats I would buy versus skip at PetSmart. First thing I would skip is any Milk-Bone product. Every single one of these has sugar in it and your dog should not be eating sugar. Instead, I would go for a brand like this. Charlee Bear. Grain-free crunch. Treats for dogs. Chicken, pumpkin & apple flavor. Although they have a lot of ingredients, they don't have any type of sugar in here and a lot of this is whole food. Instead, I would go for a brand like Wiggles & Wags. They have a lot of freeze-dried options. And as you guys can see, chicken is the only ingredient here. And even their beef and sweet potato flavor, we have minimal ingredients which we love to see. For the love of all things good and holy, please stop buying your dog bacon strips. Skip these. They are no good for your dog. Now, here's a great option. Pupford training treats. Freeze-dried chicken. They are perfect because they're nice and tiny for training. And their ingredients are so minimal. Chicken, mixed tocopherols (preservative).
