Happy Sunday guys. It's our laundry day. Let me show you how I wash my bedding. So first thing we have to do is pre-wash our beddings before we do the main cycle kung saan tayo mag sasabon. Now it's your choice if you wanted to use water or you can add also a little bit of detergent or Zonrox color safe. Now when I wash my beddings and towels, lagi talaga muna akong nag-so-soak for multiple hours bago ko talaga siya isalang sa wash machine. So I'm preparing now yung Oxybleach here as well as the detergent na gagamitin ko which is Ariel. And at this point, I'm measuring it. Kasi alam niyo ba na yung kalahati ng retail pack ng Ariel is equivalent with 2 1/2 tbsp Oxybleach, 3 1/2 tbsp Ariel. As per manufacturer's advice, it's enough to wash 18 to 20 clothes. And when I've measured it, it's actually equivalent with 2 tablespoons. Ganun lang talaga yung kailangan natin na dami ng sabon. And we can all agree na we tend to do more than what's necessary. But for this one for beddings, I'm adding 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of Ariel Antibac para talagang malinis ng maayos. And then of course the Oxybleach. Now there's times na tinatamad din ako mag-soak kasi iniisip ko wala namang build up. I always soak it. Why not skip it for this week? But since umulan kasi ng ulan, I would rather do the extra effort of soaking it at least then I'll be guaranteed na walang matitira or mag-amoy kulob. Kasi yung last time na nilabhan ko, it took 7 days. And kapag ganun katagal yung time bago matuyo yung mga clothes natin, super prone talaga yung mag-amoy kulob. Kasi kahit kaunting organic residue lang once kinapitan ng bacteria, it's so easy for them to multiply and doon mag-re-start yung amoy kulob. So I soaked it here for at least 12 hours. Now you don't really have to soak for 12 hours, sometimes 6 hours, 3 hours. It's more than enough. And it's way better compared naman kung talagang direcho lang natin siyang isasalang sa washing machine. Now I normally reuse yung pinaka-soaking solution na ginagamit ko for pre-wash yung two new foam covers na binili ko. But I will not do that this time. What I will do is babanlawan ko to ng water para matanggal yung pinaka-amoy ng Ariel. And then kapag pinaiikot ko siya sa washing machine, gagamitin ko na yung Wings Liquid Detergent. So one pack lang. What I intend to do is that close ko kasi totally okay lang sa akin na walang smell. But on my blankets, parang gusto ko na yung meron siyang amoy. So sabi ko, why not try using the Wings Liquid Detergent as like, mayroon siyang amoy like fabcon. Pero gusto ko na yung may smell. So I was hoping I will be able to use it. And so far, nakasubay na siya for one day, amoy pa din siya. So I'll update you guys once na natuyo na. So since it's the main cycle, I'm doing two rinses. On the third rinse, I'll be setting up na lang ng another wash which will serve as my third rinse. Dito ko ilalagay yung citric acid. Now the amount of citric acid I normally use for one to one and a half tablespoon. But for a change, I'll try 3/4 tablespoon na citric acid. And I will observe kung ganun din ba na hindi siya malambot pa rin siya because of the detergent procedure being removed. But at the same time, yung ma-wash out yung amoy ng Ariel. That's why nagbawas ako ng quantity. And then from there, dry na and sampay. Nabudol niyo ako dito guys. It don't have builders and anti redeposition agent present on its ingredients but it has 4 surfactants which explains why sobrang bula nya. So I'm going to use this for my blankets. I want it to smell good. So I said, why not try using the Wings Liquid Detergent as like, mayroon siyang amoy like fabcon. But I want it to smell. So I was hoping I will be able to use it.
