If you have clothes that smell musty quickly using a regular washing machine. Let me teach you how you can reset your clothes using a regular washing machine. First, we need to pre-wash our clothes so that when we soak them, they don't smell musty. And then we'll prepare a soaking solution. So I'm using Oxybleach and Ariel Antibac. So I'm using 5 tablespoons of Ariel Antibac. But you can also use other detergent. But for me, if you have the option to buy Ariel, even the retail pack is fine because it's the enzymes that will help to reset, especially if you have invisible stains present on your clothes. And that's what causes the musty smell or musty clothes. Now, for the duration, how long should I soak? I would recommend at least 12 to 24 hours. What I found out is when Ariel is used, even for 24 hours, it won't smell musty. But for other brands, I'm not really sure. So just to be safe, you can try to soak at least 12 hours of soaking. Then I'm replacing it with washing soda. And this is actually one of the best when you're using a regular washing machine. Because compared to front load and top load, you won't be having issues of powdered residue. So I would highly, highly suggest that you use powdered detergent rather than liquid detergent. Because liquid detergent, for me, it's more expensive because you're paying for the water content compared to powder. So for me, it's always going to be intended for front load and top load. The most underrated step for me that everyone should be doing is adding acids. So here in this video, I'm using vinegar. I'm adding 3 caps of vinegar. The purpose of this is that the soap is full of alkaline ingredients. And the role of this is to ensure that all the alkaline ingredients are neutralized. So it will make the clothes much cleaner. Recommended that you do this on your last rinse before you wash. And then after, let it dry. And then done. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments.
