Have you heard of Taxco? 🇲🇽 This charming mountain town in Guerrero is known for its whitewashed buildings, winding cobblestone streets, and centuries-old silver tradition — and it’s easily one of my favorite places I’ve visited in Mexico. If you’re planning a trip, here are a few things to add to your list: ✨ Explore the town — wander the cobblestone streets, admire the architecture, and visit the beautiful Santa Prisca church. 🥈 Shop for silver — Taxco is famous for its silver jewelry, so you’ll find shops everywhere. You can even have a ring or piece of jewelry custom made (or make your own like I did!) ⛏️ Take a silver mine tour — learn about the history of Taxco’s silver mining industry and see what the town is known for firsthand. 🍸 Get a rooftop drink or brunch — Taxco is built into the mountains, so there are plenty of rooftops with incredible views over the town. 🪨 Visit Grutas de Cacahuamilpa — explore one of Mexico’s largest cave systems just outside of Taxco. 💦 Swim at Pozas Azules — beautiful natural pools surrounded by lush scenery. 🌊 Spend the day at Mil Cascadas — waterfalls, natural pools, and plenty of opportunities for swimming and adventure. Taxco is the perfect combination of charming Mexican town + outdoor adventure, and I honestly think it deserves WAY more attention from travelers. Save this for your Mexico bucket list! 🇲🇽✨ #Taxco #TaxcoMexico #MexicoTravel #MexicoTravelGuide #VisitMexico mexico travel | where to go in mexico | mexico itinerary | mexico hidden gems | mexico where to go | mexico travel guide | taxco mexico
