And honestly, it’s because I love what I do, and I like being hands-on with my brand. I’m also very intentional about who I take on as a client. I know the level of service we offer, and I want to make sure we have the capacity to give each bride the experience she deserves. My clients are always telling me I need to share more of the things I end up doing behind the scenes for my brides. Over the years, I’ve had brides call because they burned part of their outfit while ironing it the night before their wedding, forgot to book someone for hijab setting, lost their cancan right before the event, walked through mud before their entrance, or had an outfit from another brand not arrive in time. The list goes onnnn. 😂 When theyve called me crying and asking what to do, sometimes Ive walked them through a solution. And sometimes, Ive just showed up. This weekend was one of those moments. My bride had an outfit change at the hall and realized a little too late that she needed someone for makeup touch-ups, hair touch-ups, and dupatta setting. She called and asked if there was any way I could help. And honestly, it just happened to work with my schedule, so I said… why not? 🤍 I got to be there, make sure everything was sitting perfectly, and watch my own work come to life. A night I definitely won’t forget. 🥹🤍 Also, before the internet comes for me 😂 I had just come from an Aqiqah, hence the maroon outfit, and had absolutely no time to change. Regardless, my bride did NOT care. 😂
