I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous to see one of my brides walk down the aisle. When you create something so personal for someone you care about, you just want them to feel EVERYTHING they imagined they would feel when they put it on. Also side note to the brides: your wedding does not have to make sense to everyone else. It has to make sense to YOU. There is no one definition of a beautiful bride. Some brides want traditional, some want modern. Some want red, some want ivory. Some want completely covered, some want to show skin. Some want regal and dramatic, others want something soft and minimal. And all of those brides can be right. I’ve seen brides second-guess their dream dress because of what a family member, friend, auntie or even a stranger might think. And honestly, it makes me sad because you only get ONE wedding day. So if you’re a bride planning your wedding right now, take this as your reminder: you don't need everyone else's approval. It’s your dress. Your wedding. Your memories.
