⚡️False Flags ➡️ Real Consequence⚡️ This is why I extend my gratitude toward my Catalyst. For context: the post at the center of this weekend = remains visible on my profile; its the Babylon cover. It is Part II of my Revenge series: an examination of Babylon, restitution, retaliation & one of civilization’s oldest problems. What happens when Injury is left without proportion, boundary or Containment? The argument is not an instruction to retaliate. Quite the opposite. It examines why civilizations developed systems of restitution in the first place: because uncontained vengeance has a tendency to reproduce itself. The Babylon video had reached roughly 150,000 views & more than 4,000 likes before TikTok deemed it ineligible for recommendation....yet it's not disappeared. & you can still watch the entire video on my profile. & here the point of "Real or Perceived:" A Small Mind chose to interpret my recent work on vengeance — which centers on social safeguards protecting uncontained retaliation — through the lens of threat. Delicious Intellectual Irony 🥵⚡️ & gave me the crystal-clear language my 🧠 hunted for months, which danced its way down into doctrine to solidify with the other foundational work on Power & Containment that is House of Reyn's conceptual bedrock⚡️ People do not respond to reality alone. They respond far more consequentially to their interpretation of reality. ➡️Truth asks: What happened? ➡️Interpretation asks: What does the actor believe happened? Real world, actionable groundwork enters with immediacy the moment we embrace Containment, which asks: What can that belief cause them to do? Which question actually matters most in the realm of real-world consequence? A priest may be most concerned with the first. A politician, perhaps the second. But a Survivor, a Steward, or simply someone interested in watching the sun rise and set a few more times before they are through must eventually become very interested in the third. Because perceived Injuries produce real retaliation. The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was real. But the interpretations surrounding that Injury, accumulated grievances, anticipated threats & obligations helped turn one assassination in Sarajevo into a continental war. False Narratives produce real behavior too. Salem did not require witches to exist for accusations of witchcraft to produce imprisonment, social ruin & death. Human behavior does not wait patiently for objective reality to finish making its case. Which brings us to a very Reyn-y, rainy weekend of great Personal Narrative // Narrative Consequence. An accusation does not have to be accurate to produce material consequences. Sometimes, in my case, those consequences also produce stronger frameworks. Containment ≠ Agreement with the grievance. Containment in practice requires acknowledgement, calibration & the Will to Act⚡️ Oftentimes, with focused urgency & haste. Throughout my life, I have been shocked to see how many people struggle to grasp the risk of major collision that arises whenever the life lines of time + pressure turn towards one another & begin to bend in perpendicular direction☄️ You do not have to validate someone’s interpretation of reality to recognize the behavioral risk that interpretation creates. You do not minimize risk because the premise appears irrational. You do not mistake disbelief for protection. You do not wait for agreement before responding to an observable trajectory. Containment asks something far less comfortable: Given what this person believes to be true, what might they do next? & what must be done now? For that clarity, kindly please accept: My Gracious Thanks⚡️ ⚡️🦊REAL OR PERCEIVED⚖️⚡️ Anatomy of Accusation + Our First Hater #Power #Containment #Philosophy #Psychology #revenge
