Live from Frankfurt Airport 8/24/26: EES is STILL causing travelers to miss connecting flights. I watched it happen today. Two travelers told my VIP guide they had already been waiting two hours for immigration, and their flight was boarding in 10 minutes. They asked to use the expedited line, but immigration sent them back to the regular EES line. There was no way they were making that flight. If you’re connecting through Frankfurt, give yourself more connection time than you think you need. live from Frankfurt and I can tell you first hand people are missing their flights because of EES my airport Tio VIP service guide Patrick met me right off the bridge carried my bags up the stairs and walked me straight to the expedited EES line while I was waiting two travelers came up to him separate people desperate for help they said they had already been waiting for two hours and their flight was boarding in 10 minutes and they were gonna miss it they tried to come through our expedited line but the immigration service said no they sent them to the back of a massive line there was absolutely no way they're making their flight so when you hear the stories about people missing connections in Frankfurt because of EES I just watched it happen and side note the exhausted little boy behind me had a complete meltdown and refused to take his EES photo eventually immigration gave up on the picture live from Frankfurt EES is real and you need to plan your connection accordingly
