Stop being your own snitch in corporate America. If you finish something faster than the person next to you, don't fucking say it. If you automated a process, how to do it by clicking a few buttons, don't tell anybody. If you have free time on your hands to go and pee in peace, don't tell anybody. The key is to always look perpetually exhausted, perpetually exhausted, like you were just making the freaking deadline. That is how you don't get taxed with more fucking work. The high performers, aka the fucking success tax.
