and let me show you some of the cool features they added to their house here. So, I'm going to talk about power for your window shades, but they decided to go with smart film. So this wire right here will power the glass so that they can make the glass a privacy glass with the flick of a switch. This is my favorite. It's been on the checklist for a long time, but I have yet to see it in action. And this is for a coffee maker. So they're going to end up having this inside the cabinet, a little hose will run down so that they can just easily fill up the coffee pot right here on the counter. And I almost forgot. So these right here are all dedicated for the kitchen. It's going to be all the under cabinet lighting. And then also, I forgot. So I'm going to show you these LED Lighting Drivers (in one location) stacked up here out of the way. So they're not in the kitchen cabinets on the other side of the kitchen. In the laundry room, this isn't even on the checklist, but I'm definitely going to add it. So this is for a smart calendar and they wanted it recessed in the wall. So they needed to make sure that they had a 2x6 wall here and then obviously power and Wi-Fi enabled, but he hardwired everything. So this house is just loaded with low voltage. And you guys, recessed dryer vent box. So that your hose doesn't get smashed behind the dryer. And the dryer vent was the path of least resistance. So instead of going up through the roof, they ended up going out of the closest exterior wall. And then we are hardwired for a Roomba Cat Cable. So that they can connect the Roomba hardwired. Inside the master closet, they have this storm shelter (with cameras) with a little window. So during a tornado, you could go in here, your family safe and sound. But if you look right up above here, this is actually set up for the frame TV on the other side of the kitchen. But right above that, you're able to see all the cameras around the entire house. And check this out. So this little area right here will be a sneaky spot for the kids. This is the kids' bedroom right here. So they'll be able to access that storm shelter quickly without having to go the long way around the house. And since their gate is so far away, regular cat cable won't work because it has its limitations on distance. So what they ended up doing is they have a dedicated fiber run that'll run from that main network area over to the gate so they can operate it using whatever internet capabilities it requires. Oh, and don't forget about running power out there too. And then you have this network closet. So as I told you, they have a lot of low voltage, over 100 drops. And they're all color coded. So yellow is for security cameras and the other different colors for the different locations around the house. And this just might as well be called the future proof house. They added a water line so that right now they're on a well, but soon they're going to end up bringing city water out here. And when they do, he'll be able to easily connect the house to city water. In the meantime, he's on a well. It is so cool to see all these features straight out of the checklist added to a new build.
