5 things I DON'T do as someone with curly hair 1. refreshing my hair I DON'T do as someone with curly hair 1. refreshing my hair I honestly hate the feeling of how it feels after I've refreshed my hair. I feel like I just have too much product in it and it kind of just starts to feel sticky and heavy. So I would much rather wash my hair if my hair ever feels like it just needs to be refreshed. 2. air drying 2. air drying I probably only air dry it for like 20 minutes after my wash and go and then I'll just dry my hair which goes on to my next one. 3. using a diffuser 3. using a diffuser I use a heat, I've posted about this before and I've actually gotten pretty good feedback on it. But I don't use a diffuser. I feel like I am too prone to touch my hair whenever I use a diffuser, which makes it really frizzy. So I use a heat, I stay a good distance away from it so I'm not burning my hair off and I also use heat protectant. So I've not seen any bad results from it. If anything, I get a lot better results than what I get from a diffuser. 4. using regular hair ties 4. using regular hair ties I don't use regular hair ties. I find that they just break my hair off a lot and they leave really bad indent in my hair. Like if I have my hair up for like 15 to 30 minutes and I take it out, it's literally the worst indent ever. These are the ones that I don't use anymore. I still have a whole bunch of them. They also break really easily. I have started using these, they're super, super stretchy. They don't leave indent in my hair and I get like a pack of like more than 100 of these for like less than $10. They're really, really nice. I love them. 5. no curly cuts 5. no curly cuts I do not get curly cuts. I usually just get a regular haircut for like 80, 90 bucks. I literally just ask for long layers, which gives me the volume that I want and the shape. And I get like longer current mains, it pretty much gives me exactly what I want with the volume and the shape. And I would probably get the same thing with a curly cut and not spend $200.
