I bought a handbag that I can't show you this is what happens when you let 50,000 women peer pressure your husband into buying you a handbag so if you were one of the people to take me shopping for our anniversary then I'd just like to say thank you for your service cause I'm now the proud owner of a new Louis Vuitton handbag there is however one small problem I'm not actually allowed to show you what I bought more on that later because believe it or not our extremely glamorous anniversary shopping trip actually started at soft play nothing screams luxury shopping quite like spending the morning crawling around after your children in a ball pit spent the first half of the day at Battersea Power Station let the children run riot at soft play attempted to do a little bit of shopping there was a moment where Mark and I genuinely considered buying this piece of art for our anniversary and then headed for some food the only slight problem was that by this point me and half of the internet was going to be buying me a handbag today was going to be buying me a handbag today there wasn't really anything at there wasn't really anything at so naturally I dealt with this devastating turn of events by buying two Diptyque candles instead I am physically incapable of leaving a shopping centre entirely empty handed by this point it was pretty late we could have gone home we probably should have gone home Mark definitely wishes that we went home I've been dragged to New Bond Street drags he loves it really first stop was Hermes and before anybody gets too excited I did not buy a Birkin apparently even social media peer pressure has its limitations we had a little meander nothing particularly took my fancy we carried on down Bond Street and into Louis Vuitton now I wasn't actually planning to buy the bag that I eventually bought I was being helped by an incredible brand ambassador and I told her that I wanted something really fun and unusual she took us upstairs where we could have a little bit of privacy and then she showed me something that technically wasn't even on sale yet which is frankly a dangerous piece of information to give to a woman whose entire online personality and real life personality who am I kidding is based around unnecessary purchases who am I kidding is based around unnecessary purchases and I'm not going to lie I loved it Mark loved it too out of the six bags that we saw we both chose it as our favorite although Mark did start to love it slightly less once he realized what was happening but by this point it was too late because you guys had spoken we were all shopping together and who is Mark to stand in the way of democracy so glad you gone for this one as I know I'm so excited but this is where we have a slight problem this bag doesn't officially go on sale until August 28th and I promised my sales associate that I wouldn't show you what's inside until then possibly for the first time in my life I have made an unnecessary purchase that I am being forced to keep to myself you're going to have to come back on the 28th to see what 50,000 women made my husband buy me 'Make his pockets hurt' 'Make his pockets hurt'
