If I were buying an advent calendar, I'd buy six very specific types of people that these are the ones that I would get. And I know what you're thinking, Gabby, why calendars in the heatwave? Yes, we are. I know from bitter experience that these things sell out quickly, so you have to start thinking about them now. First up, for the foodie, it has to be the Fortnum & Mason feasting advent calendar. This is £250 and instead of 24, you're actually getting 25 products that you can eat, drink, teas, biscuits, confectionery, preserves, condiments, the whole shebang. This is basically for the person who would be infinitely more excited to open a tiny jar of chutney rather than another hyaluronic and serum. And I respect that. Next up is an advent calendar that I got last year. This is very much for the fragrance snob. It is Diptyque, obviously. It's £399, which is an unhinged amount of money to spend on an advent calendar. But you do get 25 surprises. Diptyque surprises, including candles, perfumes, bodycare and mixture of like some of their most iconic products and some Christmas exclusives. This is very much for the person who knows that their Baies from their Bois, who owns a candle and a wick trimmer and the person who, when you walk into their house, they are already burning a candle and will be judging your reed diffuser your house. For the beauty obsessive, it's got to be Liberty. It's £285, but the products inside of the calendar are worth over £1,300. So you're getting a good deal. 21 of the products there and impressively 26 of the products, any beauty advent calendars this year, which means that it's pretty exclusive. And 20 golden ticket inside worth £1,000, which would immediately me have me convincing myself that buying one of these is not investment. Not good investment. But the girl maths is there. Fourthly, the person with expensive taste. This is Harrods. This is £27, has 32 beauty products inside. And we're talking luxury. Real luxury here. Augustinus Bader, La Prairie, Gucci, Sisley, Diptyque, Shiseido, Hourglass. The products are stunning. This isn't for someone who wants to discover a new hand cream. This is for someone who say they have a hard beauty advent calendar, but doesn't want to spend £300 on it. Wait for the M&S one. Their 2026 calendar hasn't been announced yet, but it's consistently one of the best value me my mum always get it every single year. Last year it had 25 products in, eight of them were full size from brands like Lauder, Estee, Proof, L'Occitane, Clinique. I think last year it was £60 with a £30 spend. This is for someone who wants something pretty, who wants something to open every want in November but doesn't want to break the bank. And I feel like that is a very sensible place to finish this video. So which one are you?
