sculpting 500 worry stones
i'm gonna be starting off w the persimmon
bc it's the newest addition to my worry stone line up
to make the stem part i'm gonna be using this 3D cutter
that my brother printed for me
it's in the shape of a little flower
& for some reason it makes me so so happy, i think it's so cute
as i've gotten older i've been liking flowers more & more
when i was younger i was pretty annoying & i would say i hate flowers
& i basically hate all things that are 'girly'
i think it's bc i thought i was cool if i was saying that
but i definitely was not cool
i also used to say that i hated the color pink but
look at me now bc i love pink so much
is there anything about your younger self that you're embarrassed of?
bc for me i'm super embarrassed of how i used to be the biggest 'pick me'
it took me until college to finally grow out of it
but looking back i think "ew why were you like that"
"why did you care so much about a guys attention"
especially if he didn't like you bc guys did not like me at all back then
i wish i spent all that time focusing on myself
& getting to know myself better
i'm gonna cut myself off bc i feel like i'm going on a tangent
but anyways, i finished that batch of persimmons
& now i'm gonna move on to making the strawberries
bc i actually ran out of orange clay
so i still have about 100 persimmons left to sculpt
i love making the strawberries
i think the shape is so so fun
& i also really like adding on the little bumps (seeds)
for my next preorders, whenever they're gonna be
i really wanna add a pink strawberry to the lineup
my batch of strawberries are all done
so i'm just gonna add them to the baking tray
& get them baked
i bake them at around 250f for 30 min
if you're scared about them burning, you can always bake them at a lower temperature
but for a longer amount of time
& i also use my little toaster oven
instead of the huge oven in the kitchen
i cleaned it w acetone
& now i'm gonna be using some tape to get off any lint
it's gonna go in a box until it's ready to be glazed
now i'm left w 110 more strawberries to make
