WORTH VISITING IN RAINY SEASON? ⬇️ ⚠️☔️ 💾 SAVE this for your Thailand trip or send to someone you're travelling with! ✈️ Most people imagine rainy season as non-stop rain and storms… but that’s not usually what it’s like! That is the extreme ☔️ You can have a sunny morning, a huge downpour for an hour, then blue skies again ☀️🌧️ WEATHER TIPS YOU SHOULD KNOW: ❌ Never trust the weather app as it will likely be inaccurate, especially since Thailand is a tropical climate! Thailand has 3 main seasons: ☀️ Hot season (Mar–May) — hot, humid & mostly dry 🌧️ Rainy season (Jun–Oct) — tropical showers with plenty of sunshine in between 🏝️Cool/peak season (Nov–Feb) — generally drier & cooler 🏝️ ISLAND TIPS: The Gulf islands like Koh Samui, Koh Phangan & Koh Tao can have better weather during parts of rainy season, while the Andaman coast can see rougher seas & less reliable boat trips! 🏙️ BANGKOK TIPS: Rain often comes later in the day, so explore in the morning and keep an umbrella handy! 💰 And if you don’t mind some rain, low season = more affordable prices, fewer crowds & great deals for tourists! We’ve spent 18 months travelling around Thailand in different seasons - and honestly, we wouldn’t let the forecast put us off! 🥰 ⚠️ PSA of course there can be extremes in certain areas, just like we experienced ourselves at the beginning of the video in Koh Tao!
