If you have lipedema, you may have noticed some of these signs 👀 • Less hair on your legs — reduced circulation, inflammation, and changes in the tissue around hair follicles may contribute to less hair growth. • Your legs don’t seem to tan — this can happen because lipedema tissue has altered blood flow and connective tissue, so the skin may respond differently to sun exposure. It’s not a diagnostic sign by itself. • “Balls” or little lumps under the skin — these can be the nodules commonly described with lipedema. The fatty tissue can feel grainy, pebbly, or like little beads/rice under the skin. And remember: none of these signs alone means you have lipedema. But when you start putting the pieces together—pain, tenderness, easy bruising, disproportionate fat distribution, swelling, nodules, and other symptoms—it may be worth learning more. What was the first sign that made you think, “Something about my legs isn’t normal”? 💜 #lipedema #lipedemalegs
