DMV thrift lovers, there's a new spot you're gonna want to know about. I was invited to the soft opening of Red, White, and Blue Thrift in Manassas, Virginia. I'd heard the name before, so I wanted to learn a little bit about the brand behind the store. Turns out it's a thrift store chain with roots dating back to the 1920s, officially founded in 1965 by Ray Allison, a World War II veteran. Today, they're focused on affordable second-hand goods, creating local jobs, supporting communities, and giving items a second life. After getting to walk around the new location, I loved how organized everything was, especially the coordinated sections.
