I am currently making the brown butter chocolate chip cookies from Broma Bakery. These are the best cookies ever. Every time I make them, people freak out. And the one thing I do that I think elevates them a lot, elevates them a lot, is I will buy the cheapest chocolate chips. Like, we're baking all the time. I'm not spending money on the nice chocolate, but I am taking the extra step of chopping the chips into tiny, tiny pieces. And I think that makes them so much better and more melty. And then the other thing is, once I roll them in a ball, I stick on, like, three chocolate chips. That's my hack.
