The Commonwealth has officially RESTED. Judge Sullivan tells the jury: Go home. Get some sleep. Come back tomorrow. Closing arguments and legal instructions are expected in the morning, and then the jury should begin deliberating. So it sounds like court is DONE for the day. Except… Big Red had one more thing. 👀 Court comes back into session. Reddington reminds the judge that he needs to renew his motion for a required finding of not guilty. The Commonwealth objects. The judge denies the motion. And instead of everyone leaving? They’re now coming back at 2:30 for a conference before the day is actually over. So where we stand right now: The Commonwealth is DONE presenting evidence. Red’s renewed motion for a required finding was denied. Court is back at 2:30. And tomorrow? Closing arguments. Jury instructions. Then deliberations. We are officially at the END of this trial.
