I was classically trained in piano from 3-13 years old I was classically trained in piano from ages 3 to about 13. And when I was 13, I decided I had better things to do with my time than to sit on the piano and practice my scales and inversions. So I stopped playing, but a couple years later, I ended up playing keys at church, which I wildly resented at the time, especially because all of my friends got to be cute and sing, but I was quite literally hidden behind a keyboard. So I've kind of avoided the piano in my adult life because I was never really good enough to just jump back in and be impressive. I have only been able to have keyboards in my houses, and I can't stand playing on keyboards. I was raised on baby grands. Sorry. So I found this beautiful, stunning upright that I can now have in my current home, and I got it from the most beautiful family. And I am so grateful for this upright piano. And the whole process from sale to delivery, I could only describe to you as God, whatever you believe that to be. So I decided everyday I'm gonna set a timer for 15 minutes and practice my piano. And I bought the first book that I ever Learned when I was 4 years old. And so, without further ado, this song is called Little Playmates. 14 years later. 14 years later.
