HOW TO ACTUALLY AFFORD IBIZA 🍒

So I went to Ibiza over the summer and it's completely doable. I feel like anyone can do this. It just depends on how you book it and how ahead of time you book it. When I got to Ibiza, I spent 250 max. Starting off with a hotel which is going to be probably the most expensive, but we booked it through Expedia and we did the reserve now, pay later. So we didn't pay a single dollar until actually getting to the hotel. We stayed at Hotel Vibra Mare Nostrum and we paid 1260.87 total, 631 each because I split it with my friend and we booked it six months in advance. Make sure to pay in euros because if you pay in US, it's going to be a little bit more, like a couple hundred more. Next up are the concert tickets. We also booked this around five months in advance and we were already at one of the top tier, like tier three. And the higher the tier, the more expensive. So people were already booking their tickets way ahead of time. So when you can, just book the tickets. We went to Calvin Harris, it was 140 euros for Ushuaia, best concert I've ever been to in my life. Best concert ever. Next was Hugel, he was 96 euros or 96 dollars because I did the math when it got converted. And that was at high. So high and Ushuaia are a 20 minute walk from the hotel that we stayed at. So we didn't pay money on Ubers to ever go to those places. And Ubers were a bit expensive, but I'll kind of like talk about how I saved when it came to Ubers. There's a little tip. The only club that we did pay for to get in was Pacha, which was only 35 because we just didn't book it ahead of time. But last minute we were like, okay, let's just go to Pacha. And it was 35. No artist was playing, it was just for vibes. And it was a really good club. When it comes to food, we never ate out. We had like pizza every once in a while, and the pizza was 3 euros, you know, it's really not that crazy. I feel like people make it seem like Ibiza is so expensive and a bottle of water is 20 euros. I think that's if you get it from the club. But if you get it from a normal place and they have a bunch of strips of, like, convenience stores near the club, that's where you're going to get the cheaper stuff. We got groceries instead and there was a grocery store that was like six minutes away. There was another one that was three minutes away. So Vibra Mare Nostrum was close to a lot of the places that we needed. We got groceries, bread, sardines, chips, bananas, chocolate, like we did get a pretty decent amount of stuff and it was 35 euros. BOOK UBERS AHEAD OF TIME (pacha was 1hr walk from hotel but we uber back - only used uber 3 times throughout trip) The tip is to book ahead of time. So there are things that people talk about where you can get cheaper transportation, but I just didn't have the energy to look into that stuff. So I just used the Uber app, but if you book it ahead of time, you're going to get an Uber for like 30 euros cheaper. When we went to the airport, we looked at what how much it was, it was 70 euros for getting there and when we booked it ahead of time, it was like 40. So I did the math including food, Uber, souvenirs, water, like literally everything. And it was 197. I didn't include the hotel because I had six months to get it. I had it a while before. Like I don't really count that. Now when it comes to everything that we pre-bought, the hotel and the two tickets, it was 1496.87 because I split the hotel with my friend. It sounds like a lot, but it was booked way ahead of time. It was spread out and it was not stressful in any kind of way. About the plane ticket, I left from Barcelona, so I went somewhere before. So the plane ticket was like not that expensive. But it's completely doable. I feel like people make it seem like it's really scary and it's just, it's totally worth it. Definitely go on the trip. It pretty much changed my life.
