Okay my friends, so for today's video, I'm going to be teaching you how to make this DIY Air Squishy just by using Easy Bubble Tape. And so this is actually going to be dedicated to my fifth grade students for today because my fifth grade students came today to my classroom and we were playing with like the squishies that we found in my cabinet and they said to make a DIY squishy. So today I am going to be teaching you all how to make a DIY air squishy for yourself. So for today's items, what you are going to be needing is Easy Bubble Tape. This Easy Bubble Tape I got from Hobby Lobby. I think it was like $5 and the brand looks like this. So those are the one that I got. And then you are going to be needing a straw, scissors, and then you are going to need any type of gems or sequins that you want to use. So for today, I'm going to be using this quad sequence that I got from Hobby Lobby as well. So first step, what you are going to be doing is you are going to get your Easy Bubble Tape and you are only going to cut a small strip. Can you see? Oh my gosh. Okay, that big. Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and cut it and be careful because when you cut it, try not to get it folded easily because once it folds, there's no going back. You're going to have to get another strip. So just be careful. So once you cut your strip, okay, this is what you are going to do. Okay, you are going to fold the bottom so that way this piece and this piece connect together. And you want to leave the top of the tape kind of like open just like this, but make sure that the bottom is like nice and sealed because what you are going to do here is you are going to go ahead and get whatever gems or sequins that you are going to be using. I think I'm going to be using I'm going to mix it up just a little bit. So I'm going to go ahead and put like some stars in and then I'm going to add in the hearts. That one right there, the pink hearts. Can you see? I can't see. Okay. So we're going to go ahead and add these in as well. And then once you have it like this, right, you have your your sequence in there, you're going to tighten this side up and then with your straw, so if you have like a foldable one, make sure you put it in this way. You're going to go ahead and lock it in in here and squeeze tight so that way there's like no holes where it air can come out. So you're going to have to squeeze it, squeeze it. And make sure the bottom is nicely squeezed because if you don't, like I said, the air the air is not going to go through this, okay? So go ahead and just squeeze it pretty tight. And then once you squeeze it tight, so just like that, okay, I have it locked in like that now. Now you're going to take off the the plastic that's like wrapped around. If you didn't know Easy Bubble Tape like has like a plastic when you wrap it around. So you're going to go ahead and take this off. Like I said, this Easy Bubble Tape I got from Hobby Lobby and it was like about $5 I think, okay? So now this is going to be the very hard part, okay? You're going to have to blow air into this, but you have to blow air pretty hard. So we're going to do a speed round just in case, you know, I'm having a hard time. So go ahead and make sure that it's like I said, it's sealed pretty tight here, okay? So once you do that, then you're going to blow air and then you're going to see that it's going to like get into a balloon size, okay? So let me go ahead and do it. Once you have it like this, make sure you go fast and then you twirl it. And then boom, now you have your own DIY air squishy that you just created on your own. And so like I said, I made these because it was inspired by my fifth grade students. So if you do them, now you know how to do it and they're going to last a long time too and they feel so cool. So if you do them, tag me in the video. My students, shout out to you. You know who you are, my fifth grade students. So this is dedicated to them. So now you know how to make a DIY squishy. If you create these, let me see yours and I'm kind of curious to know if you guys make them with like glue or like water because you can insert it, but I've tried and it's a fail. But if you do it, let me see in the comments so that way I can see it. Bye.
