Why it worked

The creator taps into a relatable fear of isolation and vulnerability, especially for those living alone in a big city. The emotional vulnerability and the subsequent mention of finding a community (YJP) likely resonated with viewers seeking connection and security.

Summary

The creator reflects on a realization she had about being alone in New York and the potential consequences if something were to happen to her. She contrasts this with her current feeling of security since joining YJP.

Structure

1Expressing a realization about being alone
2Contemplating potential dangers of being alone in NYC
3Feeling of security after joining YJP

Crying about a realization I had

Transcript

I feel like I've told. Have I? Have I? Okay, let me put my burrito down. To cry in peace. to New York, I, like, had the realization that, like, if anything happened to me, you know, cause like, I was there by myself. I always felt that way till I moved. When I moved here, I was like, well, technically, like, still, what would happen? Like, who would know if something happened? Honestly, ever since I, like, joined YJP. And not sponsored. This is not sponsored, I swear. But literally, it's like people. something bad happened to me. That's so cute.
