Venmo: @mjwoww PayPal: @mjwoww I saw someone on here say, “If enough strangers sent me $1, maybe I could finally afford my dream.” And I thought… what do I have to lose? So here I am, swallowing my pride and asking strangers on the internet for help. My husband lost his job this month, and honestly, I have never seen him carry this much weight. He has been applying for jobs every single day since he lost his job. He does Amazon Flex whenever he can early mornings, late nights, whenever there’s a shift but it still isn’t enough. The hardest part for me is watching him try to reassure me while I can see he’s falling apart. The other day he looked at me and said, “It’s okay, we’re gonna be okay. It’s all going to be okay.” And as he said it, tears were falling down his face. I broke inside. I’m a stay at home mom, and after having our son via C-section, I lost my job when my maternity leave for bonding time wasn’t accepted. Childcare isn’t an option for us right now, and unfortunately, we don’t have a village. We ARE the village. So my husband has been carrying the financial responsibility for our family while I take care of our children and I hate feeling like there’s nothing I can do to take that weight off of him. We’re drowning in student loan and credit card debt. Every time we feel like we’re finally catching up, something happens and pushes us right back under. Sometimes I don’t even want to tell him we’re out of diapers or basic groceries because I know how much more stress it puts on him. We just want to be able to pay off our debt, stop living paycheck to paycheck, put food on the table without fear, a roof over our head for our babies, and eventually own a home our children can always call home.I want to give my children something to fall back on someday. If enough strangers gave even $1, it could completely change the trajectory of our family. And if you genuinely can’t donate, please don’t feel bad. A share, repost, comment, or even simply watching this video all the way through helps more than you know. I’ve watched the internet come together for strangers before. So this is our little shot in the dark. Maybe this time, it can help our family🤍
