🌹 DIY ROSE WATER + STAR ANISE FACIAL TONER 🌹 You don’t always need an expensive toner to enjoy a refreshing skincare step. If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly DIY, try this 👇🏽 What I used: 🌹 100 ml rose water ⭐ 1 whole star anise How to make it: 1. Start with clean hands and thoroughly clean your glass jar and spray bottle before use. 2. Pour 100 ml of rose water into your clean glass jar. 3. Add 1 whole star anise. 4. Close it and keep it in the refrigerator for 24 hours to infuse. 5. Strain out the star anise and transfer the toner into your clean spray bottle. 🌹 Rose water can help refresh and lightly hydrate the skin, while naturally occurring compounds may provide soothing and antioxidant benefits. ⭐ Star anise contains compounds with antioxidant and antimicrobial properties that may support the skin. However, this DIY has not been clinically proven to treat acne, pigmentation or other skin conditions. ⚠️ PLEASE REMEMBER Because we are not adding a cosmetic preservative, make only a small quantity, keep it refrigerated and maintain good hygiene when preparing and using it. If you notice a change in smell, colour or appearance, discard it. For those with sensitive or reactive skin, please choose a fragrance-free and alcohol-free rose water/hydrosol instead, and always patch-test first.
