perfect iced coffee batch recipe for at home! the only instant ice coffee recipe you'll ever need trust me. If you're anything like me and you drink ice coffee around whether it's 80 degrees outside or 8 degrees and you want something that you can keep in your fridge to just go Also if you're tired of buying those jugs of coffee from the store because those are getting kind of expensive too we're gonna make a batch. This is the Illy Instant Classico I'll be using today. This is the one that I have used in the past which is great but I want to try my recipe and my ratios with the new coffee to see if it's just as good. This is the Illy Instant Classico I'm just gonna scoop that open. Take half a cup of instant coffee and large mason jar. This one is 64 ounces into here. A little bit of warm water over this. It says that you can use cold water but I find that it just dissolves better if you start off with warm water. And fill the rest of your jug up with cold water once you get rid of all the little granules. So I'm gonna give this a whisk. If you have seen those videos of jugs of iced coffee recipes going viral on TikTok. They always add their milk and their creamer into the jug. And for me, one I have a dairy egg. I don't like mixing dairy products into batches of things because I feel like it'll go bad. I also switch up my coffee flavor every day so I can't just make one large batch of caramel macchiato iced coffee and call it a day. These measurements are perfect for me so that I can add as much creamer or sugar and not have a diluted when I add all of my ice. If you find that this is too strong, go ahead and add less coffee. But we're just gonna fill this to the top. Go ahead and give it a good mixing mix. Okay, this one doesn't foam up as much as the Nescafé. I swear I had so much foam at the top of that Nescafé. And I was like, girl. I used to make iced coffees all the time with my Keurig and my Ninja. And what I would do is I would make the coffee concentrate the night before chilling it and then pour it over ice. This is still so much better than that. It's just a lot easier to pop it in your jar and go. And we're already done with coffee prep. For however long this last me. To make sure that this recipe is good, so we're gonna make a quick iced coffee. I just got lids for these mason jar branded cups. And I found these little reusable silicone lids that fit on them. Nice. Do a little bit of caramel drizzle around the side and then pour that into an ice coffee. Splash of that. Fresh batch of iced coffee. Splash of that pumpkin spice creamer from the fridge. Splash of that. Let's see if it's strong enough. Cheers. Oh girl. Mhm. I can still taste the coffee. I'm a fan. It definitely is a lot smoother with the Illy. I feel like the Nescafé had a slight burnt aftertaste. This is perfect.
