Daily Mail Six Flags Magic Mountain roller coaster X2 closes after riders sustain brain injuries

Six Flags Magic Mountain roller coaster X2 has been closed for more than a month after two riders sustained serious brain injuries, according to a new CNN investigation. In July, one rider lost consciousness when her head hit her headrest, and now is on medication to prevent seizures after experiecing brain compression and a severe subdural hematoma. Another who was injured a few days later remains in a coma at the hospital.
